It has been a while since Stana Katic exited Castle in a rather scandalous way – about which no one actually could give any satisfying explanations to this day. The rumor has it that Katic and co-star Nathan Fillion had some real feud between them for a long time. Things have turned out okay from what it seems. She just landed a role in AXN’s new drama TV series, Absentia.
Deadline reports that Stana Katic will play the role of an FBI agent who dissappeared while she was chasing one of the most wanted serial killers in Boston. She is found after six years with no memory about that happened to her. She goes back home to see her husband raising their children with his new wife. To make things worse, she becomes a suspect in some new murders.
AXN will start producing the first season of Absentia to be comprised of 10 episodes and try to make it premiere during 2017. AXN is an international network owned by Sony and the series was not brought to U.S. networks as of now.
