Scarlett Johansson was already a brilliant actress taking part in important productions, however, the Avengers franchise made her more popular. As the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Natasha Romanoff (AKA Black Widow), Johansson shone even brighter.
2014 action movie Lucy is another important production that Johansson starred in and she will also appear in the US adaptation of Ghost in the Shell next year.
It turns out the talented actress has one more movie in the line. Not an action movie this time though. Johansson just signed up to play the lead in psychological thriller Tangerine according to the report by Deadline. The movie will be based on a debut novel by Christine Mangan – which is not released yet. Tangerine will be produced by Imperative Entertainment and Smokehouse Productions, George Clooney and Grant Heslov’s company. Johansson and Clooney has worked together before in the Coen Brothers comedy Hail, Caesar!,. That being said there is no news suggesting Clooney will take part in the movie adaptation of Tangerine. We will have to wait and see if it happens.
