Leony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, the TV series adapted by Netflix to small screen, is going to premiere on January 13th, Friday. The announcement was made with a teaser trailer in which Leony Snicket warned the audience to stay away from what he created.
Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is based on the titular book series of Daniel Handler who will be acting as one of the executive producers for the show along with Barry Sonnenfeld who was considered to be the director of the film adaptation of the book series in 2004 – directed by Brad Silberling. Jim Carrey played the evil Count Olaf who planned schemes for stealing the inheritance of his orphaned niece and nephew, Violet and Klaus Baudelaire
The role of Count Olaf will be played by How I Met Your Mother’s Barney, Neil Patrick Harris. Other actors to star are Malina Weissman (Violet), Louis Hynes (Klaus). Aasif Mandvi (Warburton) and Joan Cusack.
