How to Get Away with Murder is one of the best thriller TV shows on the screen without a doubt. It almost never goes dull since people are, well, always commiting a new murder to get away with and/or conspiring to cover the old one with one more act that will bite them in the soft parts.
According to Deadline, Grammy winning singer Mary J. Blige will join the cast of How to Get Away with Murder in season 3 as a guest star.
No details have been specified about Mary J. Blige‘s role, however, it is expected for her character to be connected to a new mystery to be introduced in the season premiere.
As some of you might already know, this is not Mary J. Blige’s first rodeo with acting. In fact, for her role as Evillene in the live production of The Wiz by NBC, she got a Critics’ Choice TV Award nomination. She also starred in Black-ish, Empire, 30 Rock and Mudbound.
Another actress to join How to Get Away with Murder is Luna Velez (Dexter) who will star as the president of Middleton University where Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) works.
