There is still more than a year to the release of Netflix’s rebouut for Lost in Space and the production team has been real quite indeed. The franchise was a series at girst in 1965 but could not compete with its peers. Then came a 1998 reboot movie which was criticized a lot. Then came another production by John Woo in 2003 but it also tanked.
Right now the TV show is well into its pre-production stage. Zack Estrin ( Prison Break , Once Upon a Time in Wonderland ) is the showrunner while Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless ( The Last Witch Hunter , Gods of Egypt ) do the writing part. After Netflix gave the official approval for the show things are looking a bit more positive and some casting news are coming in.
According to TV Line , Canadian actress Taylor Russell ( Falling Skies ) will play the main character Judy Robinson. Marta Kristen played Judy in the first series while Heather Graham (The Hangover) played her in the 1998 reboot movie.
