Here are two very big names for Hollywood; J.J. Abrams (Lost, Fringe, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and Meryl Streep (Sufragette). Both of these names are enough to draw attention to any project they are involved individually, let alone together. Well here is the thing, we will actually see them working together!
J.J. Abrams is set to direct some episodes of the new TV show that Meryl Streep will star in. The TV series in question is The Nix, an adaptation of a novel by American writer Nathan Hill.
The series will be a limited one (which means it will be a short one and its length is already determined) and the project is being developed by J.J. Abrams’ production company Bad Robot according to the report by Deadline. Meryl Streep will act as a political activist during the hippier era, a mother who strikes a conservative politician while he is campaigning.
The series is kind of destined to be a hit with these two big names in the team, let us see what the time will tell. Follow us on social media to keep updated about The Nix and other shows.
