Some of the stars just talked at the Emmy Awards vaguely about what might transpire in season 7. Sophie Turner, who we see as Lady Sansa Stark on the series, stated what she expected from season 7:
“It’s quite sad. It really feels like things are wrapping up and coming to an end… People are hanging around Belfast a bit longer to be around each other and be in each other’s presence… We’ve got one more season…well, not all of us”
Looks like Sophie knows someone will not see season 8. Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who we know as Jamie Lannister, also stated that characters who have not seen each other for many years will reunite in season 7.
