With the start of official filming for Game of Thrones season 7, new characters started to be added to the show. There were rumors about some actors which turned out to be true and some to be false news.
As you can imagine, the series will be exploring more of Westeros next season. Old Town will be a common place and all the other places on the rout to Khaleesi’s invasion will be featured in the show. There was a casting call sheet according to the rumors but it was not released of course. That being said, two more actors joined the cast of season 7.
Watchers on the Wall reports that British actor Joseph Quinn will be playing a character named “Koner” while Irish actor Paul Ward will also join the cast (the role yet unnamed).
You might remember Quinn from BBC series Dickensian and Ward from some small roles in Vikings and Penny Dreadful.
These two might not be famous actors, yes, but if you think about it, a big majority of all Game of Thrones’ actors were not that famous either while eventually they showed how well-deserved their casting were.
