The movies or TV shows that became big hits usually get renewals very fast, however, this was not the case with Disney’s super hit Frozen. Although it has been 3 years since the first movie was released there was not an update on the sequel. Lately, the announcement was made but there were not really any updates on the sequels.
The latest news was about Kristen Bell saying the recording sessions started in March. Now, according to her words, the script is being written as it was not completed yet.
Since Disney values Frozen franchise a lot, the studio does not want to hurry about the production and it is only understandable that they do that.
Kristen Bell told Collider that her news about the recording sessions were a bit early to be known:
“We haven’t, actually. I thought we were about to start recording, but I was mistaken. So, we haven’t begun yet. They’re putting the finishing touches on the script. We record, as those characters, often. At the change of season at the parks, whether it’s for Disneyland, Epcot, or when Japan opens, we will record new voices for our characters, but we actually haven’t started recording for the second Frozen. But what we have been working on is an Olaf Christmas special that we’re doing for next year. We’ve recorded that already, which has been a lot of fun to work on.”
