David Boreanaz is among one of few actors who rose to fame and continued to carry on being great in more than one TV series. With his introduction in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Angel – a vampire with an actual soul, he got his own tv series, Angel, and that show lived for 5 years. After that he moved on to procedural cop drama Bones on FOX.
The series followed David Boreanaz’s character, Seeley Booth as he works with Emily Deschanel’s character Temperance Brennan in the fictional Jeffersonian Institue. These two fell for each othe during time and even got married. The ratings also changed though, the show’s last season, which is its 11th, fell below 1.0 mark for the 18-49 demographic at average and that was actually bad news for the show. However, FOX did not just cancelled the show it renewed the series for a 12th but shortened last season. This is good news for the hardcore Bones fans as it would be a real shock to see the series go out like that.
According to the latest news, that last season will premiere on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 on FOX.
