As you may very well know, Deadpool 2 will hit the theaters at the beginning of 2017. Hence the reason why there are a lot of rumors going around about which characters will be featured in the movie. There’s one rumor that Cable will be in it and played by Kyle Chandler and then there’s this new one connecting the pretty blonde Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire’s Cameron Howe) as Domino, one of Deadpool’s love interests and a mutant assassin.
Davis recently talked about her upcoming roles during an interview with GQ. She will star in Blade Runner’s sequel and the upcoming season of Black Mirror but when asked about Deadpool 2 she stated she did not know anything about it. Apparently she had been asked questions about the role frequently by fans in the social media. The actress stated:
No! It’s very interesting. People keep sending me printouts being like, ‘This is so cool!’ And I’m like, ‘Right? I also think it’s cool! But it’s not true!
Looks like no one from Fox contacted her about the role but she seems excited about the role, so it will probably happen if they come to her with the offer.
Along with Ryan Reynolds, Tim Miller will be returning and directing the sequel. Deadpool will team up with Cable and the film will be mocking the superheroes in its own way.
