Supergirl was a fall hit last season when it debuted to record high ratings on CBS. However, the series lost audience with time. This was one of the reasons behind its move to The CW and it is believed to be in a better home along with other DC Comics TV shows such as Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash.
More characters are being added to Supergirl as the premiere gets closer.
One of the complaints made of Supergirl’s season 1 was about its villains and why the villains like Live Wire, Silver Banshee and Red Tornado are so short-lived characters. Fans will be pleased to see that they got a more fan favorite actress to play a villain in season 2.

This tells us Lachman is probably playing Roulette, a DC Comics villain who is a martial artist and math expert who is very good at calculating odds for gambling.
