It was almost 15 years ago that we first heard the name Quentin Tarantino as a director with the movie Reservoir Dogs. Two years later, this time he was on the stage with Pulp Piction which still is one of the best movies ever made. Tarantino added 6 more movies to his name after that including Kill Bill series.
One of the things that made Tarantino different than other directors is that he had it all planned when he will do what and the ending of his career was in his mind long ago.
The Hollywood Reporter asked him about when he would finish directing movies during an event at the Adobe Max Conference held in San Diego Convention Center and he answered the question by saying “Drop the mic. Boom. Tell everybody, ‘Match that shit'”. It will be hard to match his works in terms of quality that is for sure, here’s what he said about his legacy:
Hopefully, the way I define success when I finish my career is that I’m considered one of the greatest filmmakers that ever lived. And going further, a great artist, not just filmmaker.
